telling different stories differently

i am an associate professor of technology and education at teachers college, columbia university, in the communication, computing, and education program.  strange place for a gal who studied literacy at penn’s graduate school of education.  and yet not so strange when you consider that much of my work for the past nearly 15 years has involved the intersection of adolescent literacies, media and technologies, and urban education.  more info about my current work can be found under the projects tab, on my blog, and occasionally on my twitter feed.  info about courses i teach and other official info can be found under the courses tab and also on my faculty page.
